I'm picking this up for PS3 tomorrow. I don't have the cash, but I have a credit card ;)
The Half-Life series is my favorite of all time. The story, weapons, enemies (head crabs, lets see another game with something similar!), and innovation in these games is by far the greatest in any FPS (or most other games) to date.
Yes, Uncharted is very nice, pretty graphics, nice weapons selection, hidden stuff to collect, and what-not, but it isn't innovative the way Half-Life was. I'm sure I'll get disagrees, but Uncharted 2 doesn't bring anything new to the table.

I'm glad I returned the used DS version I bought from GameStop. Now I can buy the ultimate version!
Well, to be honest MS has only had 2 generations to create/obtain first party studios. Sony has had 3 generations, plus portable systems. If MS were in the gaming scene back in the Playstation days maybe things would be different. I guess they were, in regards to Windows titles, however their console experience is behind the others
I'm not sticking up for MS, but they're still relatively new to gaming.
Well, they could always ship games with 4 DVDs...

They probably did it that way to focus on the action. Who wants to travel for 20 minutes to their next destination? Exploring is pretty fun, however.... We'll have to wait and see how it turns out. It's gotta be good, they're Bioware after all.

I never finished the original. I don't remember what game came out, but I started playing something else. I'll have to continue my saved game. Crap I think my saved game was on my old ps3

Just because EA owns the rights doesn't mean they're going to put every game on all the systems.

I don't think inFamous is GOTY material, but it was a fun game. My bet is on Uncharted 2. I'm currently on Ch. 20 and OMG it is f'ing unbelieveable!
The video sequences are really good. Suddenly they end and switch to gameplay and you can't tell when the video ends and the game begins. I've stood motionless for a few moments waiting for Drake to move until I realize it's time to play.
But the expansion never came close to Half Life. All they've done is Half Life expansions and Brothers in Arms. Just check the IGN reviews to see that the Brothers in Arms games score under 8 and so does Opposing Forces.
Give Turn 10 a break. I don't even own a 360 but there has been so much hate toward Forza lately that it's getting ridiculous. The 360 owners have Forza, the PS3 owners have GT5. I don't see the reason to argue and compare all the time. To each their own.
